    • Burnishing rollers designed and manufactured by INTEGI<\/li>\n
    • Test done on a MORI SEIKI NLX CNC lathe<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      It is not required the use of a specialized machinery.<\/strong><\/p>\n

      The test was conducted using F125 (42CrMo4) material, which is widely used in automotive applications and in components subjected to high dynamic loads.<\/p>\n

      During the process, the roller exerts controlled pressure on the spherical surface while the part rotates on the lathe, causing cold deformation that allows for:<\/p>\n

      • Significantly reducing surface roughness<\/li>\n
      • Compacting the surface and eliminating micro-irregularities<\/li>\n
      • Improve the part\u2019s fatigue resistance<\/li>\n
      • Achieve high-precision spherical geometry<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Operating parameters used:<\/strong><\/p>\n

        • Vc = 200 m\/min<\/li>\n
        • Feed rate = 0.025 mm\/revolution<\/li>\n
        • Roller penetration = 0.5 mm<\/li>\n
        • Spring compression = Position 2 (160 N)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          This development opens up new possibilities for manufacturers and machine shops, enabling the integration of high-quality spherical burnishing operations using standard machinery already available on the shop floor.<\/p>\n
